For much of the last week or so I have been trying hard to formulate some thoughts in my head about this thing called Social Media. It has become something we are all so enamored with and yet I can’t figure out why. I still don’t have any real firm thoughts other than there is something sitting in the back of my mind asking a very simple question
Why?
Earlier tonight I made mention of some of the things that bother me about this love-fest as I called it that we are having with something that is benefitting others more than it is benefitting us. I don’t know where my thoughts are going to lead me as I try and figure out exactly what it is about all this that bothers me the way it does but I’ll try and put a voice to whatever I come up with – right or wrong.
I’ll just leave off with this – just what is being achieved by this modern day electronic hippie movement?
Who is really benefitting by all this warm and fuzzy goodness being served up on a platter of Likes, Friends and Followers?
