I like to think of myself as a pretty faithful Twitter user even though I might poke fun at or give it the ol’ slap around once in awhile. I can even respect the idea that people want to protect their feeds from crass interlopers but can someone please explain why in the hell I would want to friend someone when I have no idea who the hell you are or what you pump through your feed?

No offence Mr or Ms itscomplicated but it’s not so damn complicated. I don’t know who are, I can’t see what you blather on about and to boot I don’t even know your name; and trust me seeing itsnotcomplicated isn’t going to make me all warm and fuzzy enough to be your friend.
So really what is the point of all this?
Especially since the phishing assholes have finally discovered that Twitterer’s are just as gullible as the rest of the Internet world. I don’t care how cute your avatar might be you’re still not going to get me to follow you without something more that digital and social media nomad because that tells me dick all – everyone is some sort of social media this or social media that these days.
Sorry but anyone out there in Twitter land that wants me to reciprocate on a follow don’t expect me to if you are protecting your feed and I’ve never met you before – digitally or otherwise – kthxbai.
