Back on the first of the month I decided to splurge and buy myself a new mouse since I have pretty well worn off all the pads of of my current one. I also figured this would be a good time to try out Tiger Direct Canada given that they supported using PayPal and took care of the shipping. Granted the $10.00 being charged to send the package to me via UPS seemed a little steep I figured what the hell I had saved more than that because the mouse had been on sale.
I rightly figured that because it was the holiday weekend any comirmation emails would arrive someday on Tuesday – which it did – and I could expect to get my mouse in fairly short order after that point. Well it turns out that the $10.00 being charged by UPS only covers ground shipping which they say can take 7 to 10 days. Wow … 10 days to ship a box containing a Microsoft mouse from Richmond Hill in Toronto to Lindsay which is about an hour to two hour drive north.
Okay .. fine .. 7 to 10 days I can live with I guess since conviences is after all the key here but then can someone please explain what the hell my mouse is doing in Detroit?
I sure hope it’s having fun because right now I’m not.
