Blogs get a rap of being nothing but useless noise and there is no such thing as professional blogging. This is something that we bang our collective heads against on a regular bases and it doesn’t matter where on the Technorati list you might find yourself.
This upward struggle is bad enough but when a vocal proponent of blogging becomes a contributor to the massive amount of blogging white noise for no other reason than to increase his gifting potential I get a little pissed and real close to hitting the unsubscribe button.
Typically Chri$ Pirillo.com and Lockergnome Window Fanatics do push out enough interesting info to make subscribing worthwhile; but recently we have been inundated with moving and wedding crap that has nothing to Lockergnome windows Fanatics and barely applicable to his main Pirillo blog (given its typical posting content).
We get it Chri$ .. you moved into some fancy new digs … cool … hope you enjoy the prewired frikken blissfullness once you get a set of donated speakers for each room. We get it … you’re getting married but what the frik does your Amazon Registry have to do with with Windows Fanatics and why do you push it down our RSS feeds twice.
Do us a favor and go register chrismarryingponzisendfreegifts.com and have at it but for crying out loud get back on track and quit making us suffer through your endless pandering.
/rant over please return to your regular scheduled reading

Why waste your time? “He” doesn’t have anything worthy of reading, it’s his reader/contributer base that provides the meat and potatoes of his information. That came to light when his show was axed. A TV show without a product gets cut. His personality, despite his personal opinion, does not constitute a product. He’s an ass. Cut your losses and ditch him. I did and I’m a much better person for it.

Now concerning the blogging bad “rap” about not getting useful or good information out there. We must ask ourselves, what sources in the world would be more than happy to see the blogging community go away? Who would be more than happy to manipulate the masses of people with propaganda that discredits blogging?
How about the term “professional” blogging, who defines professionalism in the realm of blogging? Journalism via the conventional media sources are supposed to be professional, yet the information is not always accurate and can be very misleading due to “omissions” of pertinent pieces of information. Be that as it may, applying the fact that blogging can not be so called professional is absurd.
Blogging itself is only a tool to communicate or share words with people around the world. The validity of the material presented via a blog is in direct proportion to the blogger’s integrity. History demonstrates whenever there is a tool that allows total freedom of expression, there will always be others to oppose or discredit that type of freedom. Any intelligent person knows to question any information presented online or offline and those that do not know how to think for themselves must be responsible for there own actions regardless.
Creating so called professional blog(s) would not by any means make the content accurate by that premise alone. The so called professional journalist or media perhaps find themselves being the direct source of questioning. The premises of there information in question by millions of bloggers around the world which poses a threat or challenge they are not use to historically today. Besides many of our student journalist or so called professional journalist blog also today under anonymity to avoid problems from there superiors or professors. Ask why?
No matter how accurate or misleading blogging content might be today, it should never be discounted. Corporations are recognizing the power of blogging and other organizations are now recruiting or sponsoring superior bloggers with good content. This could prove to be an attraction in the future for many. What do you think? — Pall Stanley
