Yes folks it is once more Moronic Monday where Sean and I look back over the past week and select some of our favorite stupid, silly and/or downright moronic stories. As with previous weeks neither Sean nor I have any problems coming up with enough content for the full show – hell we could probably go for  an hour but that could get us arrested for inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on our listeners.

So from one extreme to another here’s the posts reference in the show

Conservative Blogger Calls For Obama’s Assassination On Twitter (Updated) – Jezebel
Health Care Bill Spurs Assassination Calls on Twitter - ABC News
Honey, Don’t Bother Mommy. I’m Too Busy Building My Brand. – New York Times

We start of this week’s show with a bit of a catch-up from last week since Sean forgot by announcing our winner of the illustrious Braindead Award of the Week but you have to listen to find out who it was.

From there we carried on with our new Monday feature for the podcast called Moronic Mondays which is where Sean and go over our picks for the stupidest stories of the past week. These are stories that even though they might have gotten some attention really shouldn’t have mainly because of how ridiculous they were.

Our picks for the last week were:

Any of the hundreds of stories about SXSW and especially when it came to the so-called location war
Andreessen’s Advice To Old Media: “Burn The Boats” – TechCrunch
Eighty percent of corporate bloggers stop after 5 posts max – VentureBeat
Sex.com domain to be auctioned off – Globe and Mail
iPhone Addiction Is for Real, Says Stanford Study – New York Magazine
Harry Smith Undergoes Live Colonoscopy with Encouragement from Katie Couric – mediabistro

Due to the fact that Monday’s are generally pretty slow when it comes to tech news of any worth Sean and I decided that it would be the prefect day to do a show that talks about some of the more moronic stories of the previous week. These are stories that are either too stupid to even acknowledge in a post of its own or they just struck us as being totally moronic on more than one level.

So on this Monday we are proud to present our very first Moronic Monday’s show and these are some of the news items from the past week that made our moronic list.

Top Microsoft Exec Suggests Internet Usage Tax, Money Would Fight Cyber Crime – The Inquisitr
