As we round out our first week of bringing you the Daily Edition of the CobWEBs podcast you are stuck with myself and Sean P. Aune as your hosts as we spend some time talking about how Facebook had some rather interesting news this week what with the “Lite” version, the punking of TechCrunch to be added to the annuals of blogging history, and the copying of the Twitter @replies tagging.

Enjoy.

cbslogo300 Well I got the night off from hosting duties for the Daily Edition of the CobWEBs podcast which means you have the pleasure of Mark “rizzn” Hopkins and Sean P. Aune’s company.

From the sounds of it the two of them decided to tackle the problem of e-readers becoming more common and useful. It took them the whole twenty minutes but they believe they have discovered the solution. Now whether it would work is another question in the meantime here’s tonight’s show for your listening pleasure.

cbslogo300 Tonight’s hosts of the CobWEBs Daily Edition podcast are myself and Mark “Rizzn” Hopkins and we have an interesting discussion about the increase of blog subscription models ala GigaOM Pro and the new Ars Premier subscription service from Ars Technica. As well Mark provides an interesting viewpoint given that SiliconAngle is looking at  this sort of service as well.

Enjoy.

The CobWEB’s podcast Daily Edition – What’s up with Technorati

cbslogo300 Today The Cynical Bastards launch their daily edition of the famous <snicker> CobWEBs podcast. The idea is that we will be providing out typical insightful viewpoints about a single item in a show that will have two alternating hosts, and last no longer than 20 minutes.

Today’s show is hosted by myself and Sean P. Aune where we discuss the news that Technorati has decided to enter the group blogging field. Much of t he discussion though seems to center around wonder just what the hell is going on with Technorati and whether this is nothing more than a last gasp at survival.

Enjoy
