Did you hear?

Apparently Apple had a live streaming event today to announce a bunch of stuff. Something about a new iPod and all it’s offspring, something called Ping which appears to be a social music network.

Oh and ya something about some type of iTV deal.

Enjoy the show.

Ah Monday’s. They have to be our favorite day of the week, well at least it is for me because we get to do our Moronic Monday edition of the Braindead TechCast. It is so much fun being able to share all the wonderful things we find on the web with everyone.

Well, maybe not for Sean. He always seems to end up in the corner weeping about the decline of mankind into a morass of moronic mindlessness.

Here’s the list of posts that led to Sean’s emergency call to the sanatorium.

  • Hair Dryer Made by Ferrari Engineers – Neatorama
  • Cell Phones for Babies – Random Good Stuff
  • Twournal: Turn your Twitter stream into a printed journal – The Next Web Apps
  • Tapi, So You Don’t Have To Drink From The Faucet Like A Cat – CrunchGear
  • Nose Flute – Random Good Stuff
  • SnazzyNapper: Use It While Driving To Clear Out the Gene Pool! – CrunchGear
  • Flamethrower Trombone – Neatorama
  • Dog Yoga – Neatorama

And a special bonus:

GIF: Iz on a Roomba, Ur Argument iz Invalid – I Can Has Cheezburger

Enjoy the show.

You know it’s going to be an interesting show when the first thing Sean and I do is break into a Cheech and Chong routine; but it doesn’t get any better than talking about the trademarking of the word ‘Face’ and the interesting implications if that happens.

Posts referred to in the show:

  • Social media for pot smokers – Jason Kottke
  • Yahoo Sells Hotjobs To Monster, Protects Their Users – gHacks
  • Guess Who Is Trying To Trademark The Word “Face”? (And Guess Who Is Trying To Stop It?) – TechCrunch

Enjoy the show
