Ah Monday’s. They have to be our favorite day of the week, well at least it is for me because we get to do our Moronic Monday edition of the Braindead TechCast. It is so much fun being able to share all the wonderful things we find on the web with everyone.
Well, maybe not for Sean. He always seems to end up in the corner weeping about the decline of mankind into a morass of moronic mindlessness.
Here’s the list of posts that led to Sean’s emergency call to the sanatorium.
Wow what a desperately boring end of the week on Techmeme. I mean when the high point is the story from Associated Press because you wonder when Techmeme will be getting a bill for over quoting you know it’s boring.
Headlines from Techmeme mentioned in tonight’s show.
You know it’s going to be an interesting show when the first thing Sean and I do is break into a Cheech and Chong routine; but it doesn’t get any better than talking about the trademarking of the word ‘Face’ and the interesting implications if that happens.
As always on the last day of the week we faithfully bring you the fabulous Techmeme Friday edition of the show. However tonight Techeme must have known we were coming because not only was it boring but they keep showing Sean a different line-up of headlines which left me refreshing and chasing all over the page.
While we don’t cover a lot of topics tonight the one’s that we do cover are all mind-boggling, each in their own silly way. I mean what can you say when the high points of a Facebook press conference is the banging of a gong and the public punking of what was once a competitor.
Not to mention the fact that as much as I really, really, dislike McAfee products I sure wish I had been a shareholder because today was Christmas.
Most of our listeners will already know of our two theme nights, Moronic Monday and Techmeme Friday, but tonight we are starting the third of our theme nights. On this, and future Wednesday Sean and I will be bringing you some of the coolest things we have found in tech for the previous week and sharing them with you.
We are really looking forward to doing these shows because as much fun as picking on people and stupid tech news might be, we wanted to also celebrate the good stuff out there.
