Did you hear?

Apparently Apple had a live streaming event today to announce a bunch of stuff. Something about a new iPod and all it’s offspring, something called Ping which appears to be a social music network.

Oh and ya something about some type of iTV deal.

Enjoy the show.

After missing two night Sean and I are back to disprove the rumors of our demise even though one of us is sick as a dog.

This is kind of a mish-mash show given that it should be our night of cool stuff we tossed a few items of news just to balance things out after missing a couple of days.

Posts referred to in tonight’s show.

  • Video: Meet Hexapedal Running Robot Phasma – CrunchGear
  • Incredible race simulator makes all others look like toys – DVICE
  • Digg Version 4 – Digg Blog
  • Call phones from Gmail – Gmail Blog
  • Is this Microsoft’s new Internet Explorer 9 interface? – Mary Jo Foley
  • Nice IE9 image but is this what we’ll see come Sept. 15? – WinExtra

Enjoy the show

In some ways this could have been a Moronic Monday show given that we ended up talking about some really stupid things that everyone is getting all excited about even though we’re not sure why. A bonus for Sean was that he could tell me that it’s all because it’s Apple – which seems to becoming his favorite saying.

Oh and we have a bonus for you tonight.

Post that are referred to in the show.

  • The Web Is Dead. Long Live the Internet - Wired.com
  • WIRED’S LAST SCHTICK IS DEAD. LONG LIVE…. – Broadstuff
  • RIM moves just 150,000 BlackBerry Torch phones on launch – electronista
  • What Happened to the Grooveshark iPhone App? – Grooveshark
  • Apple Granted Design Patents for “Slide to Unlock” and “Keyboard Letter Pop” – Redmond Pie
  • RIAA wants you to have an FM radio in your phone – even if you don’t – The Inquisitr
