Braindead TechCast EP35: And they say bloggers have no ethics, ya right .. tell us another one

Posted on March 31, 2010 by Steven Hodson

While we open tonight’s show talking about something that I found which Windows users should bookmark right away we do get back on track taking a look at a couple of subjects that we felt was important.

Well at least one that we felt that was important even though no-one else has yet, and the other .. well it’s not like we had much choice since the iPad is gaining speed thanks to reviews from the likes of Walt Mossberg .. and no we don’t mean the puppet.

Yes folks the iPad cometh and everyone and their brother is getting all hot and bothered. Not to mention the fact that all the usual subjects have gotten their early release of this world changing tablet and proceeding to lord it over the rest of us tech rabble.

Braindead TechCast EP34: And you thought you escaped Moronic Monday’s

Sean and I wanted to do our Moronic Monday’s show yesterday – which ironically enough would have been .. a .. Monday – really we did but Talkshoe decided that it didn’t like us. It didn’t matter what we tried nothing worked and we finally had to concede defeat.

So not to be out done or waste perfectly good stories about really moronic stuff being done on the web or by companies we are having our own version of groundhog day and doing our Moronic Monday’s show today and trust me we have a couple of doozies sitting in the wings.

So without any further ado here’s the posts referenced in tonight’s shows – which actually should have been yesterday’s show.

Is Baby Talk the New Startup Naming Convention? – GigaOM
Uh … WTF?: EA planning to charge for game demos – The Inquisitr

Braindead TechCast EP32: MG Seigler proves that the end of days are just around the corner

Posted on March 25, 2010 by Steven Hodson

With the weekend just around the corner Sean and I took a look as couple of interesting stories that were floating around the web today but started off with a bit of back and forth about the ridiculousness surround the drooling that old media is experiencing over the potential fortune to be made thanks to the still to be released iPad.

After which we checked to make sure that the world hadn’t really come to an end as we are driven almost speechless over how MG Seigler was going all gaga (and not the Lady version) Windows Phone 7 Series all because of an app for Foursquare. This is funny if you know who MG is and how much of an iPhone lover he is.

We continue with the tablet talk as we find out that some silly named tablet will be coming to you three days before the iPad is finally available for your grubby little mitts.
