Braindead TechCast EP25: SXSW: Bring on the sponsorships never mind the sharing & learning

At some point, somewhere in the world, at any time there is probably some sort of tech conference going on and they seem to be growing in numbers worse that fleas on a dog. This week of course is the big spring break of tech conferences happening in Austin, Texas, called SXSWi.

Each year of the conference the number of people going has been climbing to the point they have seen a 40% increase of people attending this year over last year. That is a crap load of people no matter how you slice or dice it but it seems that just as the numbers are growing so is the undercurrent of feelings that being there is approaching pointless.
