For those that are not familiar with Friendfeed two of the most prolific users on the service at one point was Robert Scoble and his brother Alex. Last I checked Robert had gone to some new shiny thing but Alex was hanging in there. The joke of all this is that Aol sold Bebo for a maximum of $10 million but more likely $2.5 million whereas Facebook bought Friendfeed for $50 million.
Of course none of this will matter as long as Lieberman cons enough members of Congress and House Representatives to go along with him and hand control of the Internet to the President and DHS.
But then we could all move to Iceland which as of today has the best journalistic and whistle blower protection laws on the planet the only problem being that they don’t have enough bandwidth if everyone jumps over there.
